Server Nexus Overview¶

The server nexus contains Jetfire storage units for all users. Storage units are permanently stored by Server Nexus, typically in a database or file system. The storage units provide permanent rentention for:

workflow objects
workflow classes
Audits
Parse Units

The storage units are logically stored in either a workspace or namespace.

Responsibilities of the server nexus:

Permanent retention of storage units.
Enforcing role based access rights.
Tracking and reporting concurrency errors.
Ensuring updates are atomic.
Updating client nexuses as storage units are created or change.
